A highlight of the event was the insightful lecture on "Green Hospitals" presented by the Egyptian Biomedical Society (EBMES).

The lecture was delivered by Eng. Doaa Yehia, V.P. of BME Department at Children’s Cancer Hospital 57357 and EBMES treasurer.

The lecture focused on the concept and implementation of green hospitals, emphasizing sustainable practices in healthcare facilities. Eng. Doaa Yehia discussed how green hospitals aim to reduce their environmental impact through energy efficiency, waste reduction, and the use of renewable resources. The presentation covered innovative technologies and strategies that can be adopted to create healthier environments for patients, staff, and the community.
